Mark your calendars! Sacramento Home Winemakers 2023 Jubilee is on June 3-4. The Wine Competition is on Saturday June 3, followed by the Jubilee Picnic and Awards Ceremony on Sunday, June 4. This year’s celebration also includes a Wine Bottle Label Competition.
SHW celebrates its 50th Anniversary this year and in the spirit of five decades of home wine making fun, this year’s Jubilee Best of Show Wine wins $200!
We’re encouraging all to enter wines into competition. And, we make it soooo easy for you – your first wine entry is free! Subsequent entries are $10 each plus you need to submit only one bottle per entry. Entries open for the wine competition on April 12 and close on May 17. You can bring your entries to the April 18 and May 17 SHW meetings. This competition is Club member exclusive.

Please note that SHW’s Jubilee Wine Competition, the California State Fair Home Wine Competition, and one other recognized home / amateur wine competition are required to be eligible to compete for SHW’s Rex Johnston Memorial Winemaker of the Year award.
