Grower-winemaker in Fair Play (El Dorado County) would like to lease her 2-acre Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard for 2026. Grower can provide guidance if new to farming grapes but would like some fruit in trade for farming the season. She provides some details:
This is a Cabernet Sauvignon block planted in 2015. It’s Lafite Rothschilds clone 337 and Disney Sees. The fruit has been very consistent and the wine is excellent. The pruning is easy on Cabernet. It’s pretty straightforward. It’s not as difficult as some of the other varieties. I’m willing to provide guidance. I’m just not going to have the time this year to farm!
