While we can’t capture the results from all of the home / amateur wine competitions that we hear of, we try to note as many as we can because we are proud of SHW members’ competitive spirit!
Results from the El Dorado County Fair Amateur Wine Competition are in. Gold awards were earned by members Steve Van Someren, Scott Carpenter, Leandra Neal, and Donna Bettencourt. Brad Ward and partners entered competition for the first time with two wines and both captured Silver awards. We look forward to seeing these wines and more at the Jubilee Wine Competition.
