We have a lot going on at next week’s March 18 SHW meeting, and we don’t want you to miss an opportunity. so let’s quickly go over the time sensitive stuff.
Bringing wines for evaluation? Brad Alderson will be evaluating members’ 2024 and 2025 red Bordeaux varietals/blends. To be included in the line-up, remember to email the Wine Evaluation Form to VP donna Bettencourt by Monday, March 16. Donna’s email: donnab1045@gmail.com.
Bringing wines to enter into competitions? Only wine entries that have been registered on-line and affixed with the appropriate bottle label can be accepted at the meeting.
- California State Fair Home Wine Competition – find Donna Bettencourt.
- SHW Jubilee Wine Competition – entries will be accepted starting March 16. Find Mike Menard.
- El Dorado Amateur Wine Competition – wines must be entered on-line by March 16; however, you can deliver the competition bottles to the meeting. Find Donna Bettencourt.
