Over two dozen Winemaking 101 workshop attendees braved a very warm Saturday for the second part of SHW’s 2025 Winemaking 101. We followed the shade as Club volunteers meticulously demonstrated basic wine making steps and the event wrapped up with wine tasting, lunch, winery tour, and a vineyard walk.
This important annual workshop is an effort for the love of home winemaking:
- many thanks to Kathy and Ron Loder for continuing to share their beautiful home, winery and vineyard, and their wine making experience;
- we so appreciate the smooth organization skills of WM 101 Coordinator Joe McGillivray and the countless hours he devotes to WM 101;
- and we couldn’t do it without the WM 101 volunteers who share their enthusiasm, wines, and knowledge to ensure new winemakers start their wine making journey making their best wines.
