The rush of harvest is finally quieting down! This month’s Club meeting is a fun evening when you get to mingle with fellow wine makers while tasting top-awarded wines. The November 19 meeting is also the Club’s annual meeting – you get to vote on the incoming Executive Board positions.
The Wines. Members whose wines earned gold awards or more in this year’s wine competitions are invited to pour their best at this meeting. If you haven’t yet been contacted by VP Byron Froman and you would like to pour, please let him know at befroman@gmail.com.
Vote Only Once. The election for 2026 Executive Board members will be held at the meeting. Below is the slate of open positions and nominees:
- President – Byron Froman
- Vice President – Donna Bettencourt
- Treasurer – Sue Nemeth
- Membership Chair – Tammy Cross
- Members at Large – Ron Boyle, Scott Carpenter, John Crispin, Bruce Currie, Jeff Giordano, Chuck Rairdan, Thad Rodgers
Additional nominations will also be taken from the floor prior to the election. One vote per membership only. Members unable to attend the annual meeting may vote by proxy no later than 6:59 pm on November 19, 2025 by texting Board Secretary Kathy Froman at 530 304-9698.

The meeting starts at 7 pm upstairs at the Turn Verein located at 3349 J Street in Sacramento. Front doors open after 6:30 pm.
