A message from our Chairman of the Board – Joe Mcgillivray
As we prepare for a fantastic year ahead, we are excited to officially announce the slate of officer nominees for the upcoming 2027 Sacramento Home Winemaking Club leadership team.
Our nominating committee has put together a dedicated group of members who are eager to serve our community, support our shared passion for craft winemaking, and lead our educational programs, tastings, and events over the next year.
Here is the official 2027 leadership slate:
- President: Byron Froman
- Vice President: Mike Thornburg
- Secretary: Kevin Mallon
- Membership Chair: Tammy Cross
- Members at Large: Thad Rodgers, John Crispin, Scott Carpenter, Jamie Garrett, Geeta Rezvani, Jeff Giordano, Bruce Currie
Voting Details:
Official voting will take place during our November monthly meeting. Per our bylaws, we will also accept nominations from the floor prior to the vote. If you are unable to attend but would like to submit a proxy vote, please email the club secretary, Kathryn Froman at kmfroman@gmail.com.
Thank you to everyone who stepped forward to run for office and to those who helped recruit this year’s outstanding candidates. It’s the dedication of our volunteers that keeps our club thriving and our barrels full!
