2026 amateur/home wine competitions are in full swing! The California State Fair Home Wine Competition will start accepting entries on March 1. SHW’s Jubilee wine competition is on May 16. Entry details will be following soon.
Kick up the competition fun and compete for the Club’s Winemaker of the Year award. There’s a little planning involved along with a bit of strategy plus a whole lotta trust in your competition wines. Last year’s contestants were less than a couple of points from one another so this contest is crazy competitive and fun – you just might be this year’s Winemaker of the Year!
