The Unified Wine and Grape Symposium returns to Sacramento Jon anuary 27-29. While the programs are geared towards the commercial side of wine and grapes, the Symposium’s 2-day trade show (January 28-29) is a great way to learn about all things wine making and viticulture. Through the generosity of vendors, SHW procures a few trade show passes and makes them available to members for $10 per pass. Normally the passes are $40 before January 20 and $80 thereafter.
In late afternoon on Wednesday January 28, queue at the multiple stations for regional wine tasting and taste wines made from just about every state in the US (take your glass home). Chat it up with a vendor and you just might be invited to an after-hours hospitality party.
