Tasting in the Dark – UC Davis Mondavi Institute

The December 4 event at UC Davis’ Robert Mondavi Institute features Tasting in the Dark presented by Dr. Hoby Wedler. Attendees will be blindfolded and tasting wines made by UC Davis. Dr. Wedler, a blind chemist and sensory storyteller entertained SHW with a similar presentation a few years ago and we were surprised that we couldn’t distinguish between white and red wines when we couldn’t see the wines.
