Portuguese Ports – October 15 Meeting

If you’ve wanted to know more about Ports and making Portuguese style ports, come to the October 15 SHW meeting. Veteran winemaker Luke Laubaugh will be entertaining us about ports especially with the styles and methods for making Portuguese style ports. A UC Davis Viticulture and Enology graduate, Luke is a former SHW member that has gone on to making wine with Heringer Estates in Clarksburg and St. St Jorge’s in Acampo.

Bring a wine glass for your use. The meeting starts at 7 pm upstairs at the Turn Verein located at 3349 J Street in Sacramento. Front doors open at 6:30 pm.
