The Delta Education Vineyard is located in Clarksburg, California, and is selling Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc.
Students at Delta High School created the vineyard seven years ago, and help to maintain the vineyard in the spring (pruning, shoot thinning, trellis maintenance, fertilization) and in the fall (fruit removal, harvest).
In addition, the Delta Education Vineyard has an intern working throughout the spring and summer, helping with irrigation, weed control, and general maintenance of the trellises/vines.
Also, the Delta FFA State Winning Grapevine Judging Team routinely practices in the Delta Education Vineyard before competing in competitions. All proceeds will go to the Delta Education Vineyard, which awards scholarships every year to seniors graduating from Delta High School.
Chenin Blanc (up to 7 tons)- $1/pound
Cabernet Franc (up to 4 tons)- $1/pound
