This varietal is a bold and expressive red wine from Puglia, with depth and character and is one of the region’s most iconic varietals. This wine stands well on its own as evidenced by the awards received in 2025 judging (Double-Gold, Best of Class).
Also, it blends amazingly well with the other well-known Puglia varietal, Primitivo.
Amos will bring the fruit some 70+ miles to Auburn, crush and stem and you take the fruit. Cordi will sell the fruit for $1.00 a pound and to cover the fuel costs, the price to you for ready-to-ferment fruit is $1.10. Harvest is expected in the next 2 weeks.
