Sacramento Home Winemakers has several pieces of wine making equipment for rent.
- The Club’s equipment rental program is available only for current members in good standing. To join SHW, click here.
- The rental fee is $0 and a security deposit (cash or check only) is required at time of equipment pickup. The rented equipment is to be returned on time, cleaned and in good working condition with no missing or damaged pieces. Offenders will not be able to participate in this rental program in the future.

Here’s what is available for use:
Scale for Weighing Grapes: $25 cleaning deposit
Scale has a tare feature and can weigh up to 400 pounds.
Crusher/ Destemmer (two available): $100 cleaning deposit
Includes extension cord and a stand for each unit.
Ratcheting Basket Press (two sizes): $50 cleaning deposit
DO NOT PRESSURE WASH THE WOODEN SLATS OF THE BASKET PRESS.
– #40 Press: 18-gallon capacity.
– #35 press: 13-gallon capacity.
Buon Vino Super Jet Plate Filter: $50 cleaning deposit
Filters are currently included with the rental, free of charge.
Bench Corker: $25 refundable cleaning deposit
3-Spout Gravity Wine Bottle Filler: $25 cleaning deposit
