Matt Cline, from Three Wine Company is offering a presentation and a wine tasting experience with him on Saturday, June 21.
Over the course of his 43-year career, Matt was instrumental in the success of 3 wineries: Cline Cellars, Trinitas Cellars and now Three Wine Company. To Matt and thousands of years of winemakers before him, blending varietals and finding a perfect balance between the grapes is what winemaking is all about. He has a passion for preserving and educating on the historic grape varietals of California, such as Zinfandel, Mataro, and Carignane.
We will be meeting at his winery on June 21 at 11 a.m. in the Old Sugar Mill, located at 35265 Willow Avenue in Clarksburg, just 4 miles south of Freeport on South River Road.
If you have questions about the history of winemaking in California prior to the 1920s prohibition and would like to up your game blending varietals, you will enjoy spending some time with Matt at his winery in Clarksburg.
