This year’s SHW Jubilee Wine Competition was on Saturday, May 31. With the assistance almost 30 Club volunteers and four panels of judges, 115 wines were evaluated in 19 classifications.
The Best of Show award was earned by Byron Froman’s 2024 Albarino! The competition also awarded four division honors: Best of Division White Wine for Byron’s Albarino; Best of Division Rose Wine for Byron’s 2024 Barbera; Best of Division Red Wine for Donna Bettencourt’s 2022 Bordeaux Blend; and Best of Division Dessert – Fortified Wine to Thad and Heather Rodgers for their 2019 Primitivo Port. Congrats to these and all entrants!
