If you have been wanting to learn how to make wine, or to brush up on your basic winemaking skills, come to SHW’s Winemaking 101.
The workshop is open to active SHW members ( at no charge ) and to non-members for $30.00. If you join SHW before, or during, the workshop for $50.00, the workshop fee is waived.
The event is planned for Saturday, July 31, 2021, starting at 9AM at a home winery in Granite Bay. Part lecture, part demonstration – learn the basic steps for making dry red, rose, and white wines. You’ll also learn to use wine making equipment and receive certification qualifying members to rent Club equipment.

Equipment certification only. SHW rents large wine making equipment to its members. Members must be trained and sign certification and waiver. This equipment training is offered once a year at WM 101. To sign up for equipment training and certification, please contact Joe McGillivray at email@example.com. Members needing certification only don’t need to take WM 101 workshop.
