Sacramento Home Winemakers will be staffing the home wine booth at the California State Fair. This year’s fair dates are July 14 – July 30. We are looking for one to two volunteers per shift to staff the booth, shifts will usually be 3 hours. Each volunteer will be provided a complimentary fair ticket and parking pass for the day(s) volunteered. Volunteers will also be provided a FAQ and instructions for the booth.
We are currently filling Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts: 10:30am-1:30pm; 1:30pm-4:30pm; and 4:30pm-7:30pm.
Check the Cal Expo State Fair website for the attractions you would like to see and coordinate the event with your volunteer shift (free entry and parking to the State Fair).
This year everyone who volunteers for a shift will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win 2 tickets to the 2023 SHW Holiday Dinner. If you volunteer for one shift you will receive 1 ticket, 2 shifts you will receive 2 tickets, 3 shifts you will receive 5 tickets. If you volunteer for more than 3 shifts you will receive an additional ticket for each shift.
