Cellarmasters, the home winemaking club in the Los Angeles area invites Sacramento Home Winemakers to compete in their annual wine competition:
“Cellarmasters (cellarmastersla.org) is one of the largest amateur winemaking clubs in the country and we host the best amateur wine tasting competition. I say it is the best because I have entered my wines in many competitions and although I have won numerous medals, I have never received the kind of useful notes and feedback from any of them like the tasting notes that our judges return to each and every entry to our competition. We get letters and emails each year thanking us and the best part is that the wines entered get better each year!
We only get hundreds (not thousands) of entries each year. This gives our panels of judges (4 to 6 judges per panel) the time to carefully consider each wine. Not only for the chance of a medal, however from the perspective of a fellow home wine maker with the self-serving notion that what we say can help make everyone better wine makers and we then get to judge better wines each year.
Sacramento Home Winemakers have entered our competition in the past and have been very successful.
Take a look at our Facebook page and website to see the entry information.
