Their vineyard is located in southern Sacramento County that enjoys a Delta environment of warm days and cool, breezy nights as part of the Clarksburg appellation. Paul and Nancy hedge the vines, pull leaves and use bird netting and bird scare devices to ensure quality and control diseases. The vines have an adviser driven spray program for mildew and insects.

10 Vinmetrica SC-300 Sulfite & pH/TA Wine Analyzer Kits
It’s not too late to get in on this group buy:
SHW member Ganesh Kalyanaraman is seeking ten (10) winemakers who are looking to go in on a group buy for 10 Vinmetrica SC-300 analyzers.
The analyzers allow the users to collect data on SO2, pH, TA, temperature, dissolved oxygen, residual sugar, and potassium. The kits include SC-300 meters, both electrodes, all reagents, pipettes, syringes, beakers, Bluetooth adapters and smartphone apps.
The group buy is being offered as part of Vinmetrica’s Kickstarter roll-out of their smartphone (Android or IPhone) apps and Bluetooth adapters. The total for the package is $400 per kit (value of $600) and the group purchase needs to be made by July 30th, to get the discount. Information on the specifics of the package can be found here.

“used wine barrels for sale. They have been used one time and are in promo condition. They gave been kept in a cool dry place (70 degrees) and I have burned Sulphur sticks in them monthly. I need to sell them to make room in my tiny winery. I would normally sell them for $400 ( they are $1100 new ) but I am going to let them go for $200 apiece They are vintage 2014… tight grained French Oak, medium plus toast.”

SHW member Danyal Kasapligil can only use so much. The minimum size of oak chips and bentonite he purchases is still more than he needs.
He has two selections of oak chips for sale at his cost of $10/lb. or trade. Both are 2016 vintage.
