May 16 Meeting – Fermentation

Shea Comfort, The Yeast Whisperer, is this Wednesday’s meeting speaker.  Shea plans to talk everything about fermentations and will also take questions on other aspects of winemaking from the floor.  The meeting starts at 7pm upstairs at the Turn Verein at 3349 J Street in midtown Sacramento.

Bring a bottle of wine to share if you’d like – don’t forget your wine glass.  Your help in setting up and cleaning up at the meeting is appreciated.  Please consume responsibly.

May 16 is also the last day to enter SHW’s wine competition, The Jubilee.  The cellar master will be accepting entry wines at the meeting.  Enter with a 750 ml bottle and the required forms and fees.  The first entry is free!  Click on this link for the details.

Are one of your wines smelling or tasting a little funky?  Ed Shepard, the evening’s pro in the know, can help troubleshoot your wine at the meeting.  Find him in the room’s southeast back corner.
