Thank you Rick for the good vibes. and to member Helen Frisch for turning on her radio.
I am a home winemaker and I have a friend that has a one acre vineyard in Rescue CA with 12 year old head pruned Barbara vines. Probably 3 to 4 tons, could be a group activity for several winemakers. He lives in Colorado and wants to find someone to take care of the vineyard, harvest the grapes, make wine and he just wants a small amount of the wine for his personal use. Pictures attached. Let me know if you are interested. I am in Orangevale (By the way I gain nothing, just helping people connect).

June’s issue of SHW’s The Grapevine landed in your email box early yesterday morning. On page 4, Chief Judge Donna Bettencourt recapped this year’s top awards. Don and Gayle Koehler were erroneously omitted from the list of Double-Gold awards. All three judges on the panel that judged the Koehler’s 2014 Syrah initially gave the wine gold recognition. When this happens, the wine is a double-gold winner.
Congrats to Don and Gayle and to all winemakers enterting Jubilee wines that placed. In all, awarded were a Best of Show, 3 Best of Divisions, 9 double-golds, 30 golds, 67 silvers, and 17 bronzes. Double-gold, division and Best of Show winners will be recognized at the June 15 meeting. All Jubilee ribbons will also be there for distribution.
