SHW members enjoy the benefit of borrowing the Club’s equipment – destemmer-crusher, basket press and filter – at a nominal cost. Before doing so, members are to be trained in the use, cleaning, and care of the equipment, and also sign acertification (certification form can be found at http://www.sachomewine.com/member-services/winemaking-equipment-loan-program/).

Cedar Creek Ranch Winery has 3-4 tons each of Petite Sirah, Syrah and Sangiovese grapes for sale at $2,800 ton/$1.40 lb plus a picking fee of $70 per 1,000 lbs. Self-pick or assist pick options available. No crusher is on site; the winery does offer turn key services including bottling. Minimum purchase of 300 lbs.
The vines are 16 years old, always organically grown, ultra-premium estate produced. Harvest is estimated for mid to late October.
Cedar Creek Ranch Winery’s wines have won awards every year at the Amador County and El Dorado County fairs. The sryah has won double golds each year and Best of Class. The Petite Sirah has won golds and was featured in the Mach 2013 issue of Wine Enthusiast. The Sangiovese has consistently won silver awards.
My vineyard is located in Granite Bay, next to Roseville, CA. This year, we have approximately 3 to 4 tons of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and 3 to 4 tons of Merlot grapes for sale. The vines are 10 years old, properly pruned, thinned and well managed. In the past several years, these grapes have produced high-quality wines through several wine-makers including those in the Sacramento Home Winemakers.
